I was lucky to stumble across a used copy of this book. The story was a hoot and the illustrations are just as amazing. William Kotzwinkle is the author and the illustrator is Audrey Colman. Together the two have made a cult classic in children’s literature. If you want to laugh in the new year, pick up a copy of Walter the Farting Dog and read it to a child you know.
