With appeal to both children and adults, Mr. Lichtenheld’s masterpiece is a necessary addition to the book shelf and a mandatory feature for my October Book of the Month. The text is as lively as the wonderful illustrations. His sense of humor in this story brings comfort to the fears children have of monsters. Kids have a lot of fun with this story and they learn that there truly is nothing to fear underneath their bed.

As Halloween approaches I want to remind everyone that it is the anniversary of the late and great Harry Houdini. Wisconsin is a magical state with a lot of magic and circus history. Did you know that Harry Houdini once lived in Appleton, WI where his father was a Jewish Rabbi? He even performed in Madison, WI at the peak of his career.
Unfortunately Houdini is no longer with us, but you can still see wonderful magic shows through out the state. My favorite stage show, besides my own, is The Rick Wilcox Magic and Illusion Show in the Wisconsin Dells.
Langer is a magician based out of Madison, WI and Milwaukee, WI. He is one of the top performing magicians in Wisconsin. Langer performs magic for birthday parties to full stage magic and illusion shows. He is currently performing with Jason Love (The Madman of Magic) as part of The Love and Langer Magic and Illusion Show.

Hey all, just a quick reminder:
Come see me, Langer, this Thursday at the Comedy Club on State in Madsion, WI. If you are in town then stick around until Saturday for the Halloween celebration at the comedy club too. It should be a spooktacular time. For a comedian, you think I could have came up with a more clever word than, “spooktacular.” But hey, it’s 5 A.M. and I’m not sleeping. Could someone make me some coffee, please?

Okay, so I am sorry that I haven’t written anything in a while. I just returned from performing a few shows in Madison and after logging on to my website I noticed I haven’t been blogging lately. Well worst things could be going on. I could have said that I haven’t been brushing my teeth lately-which reminds me I need to buy a new toothbrush. Anyways if you’re in town, and by town I mean Milwaukee, come and see me at Jokerz Comedy Club this Thursday. I will be performing with the very funny Sean. Other than that, you might have to wait until October 25 to see me at the Comedy Club on State in Madison. As for The Love and Langer Show, the second half of our fall tour will resume early in November. We are currently working on booking for next spring and summer. Hopefully we’ll be at a town near you! As for now it is cold and getting late; I bid you all good night.
